IV. Game Scheduling Procedure
Each week, there will be an individual thread created in the Game Scheduling forum for every game to be played that week. This is where ALL communication should be recorded in terms of scheduling games. Conversations on AIM, XBox Live, etc are all well and good, but when it comes to simulating games that don't get played on time, the scheduling threads will be the end-all, be-all in determining who gets the win.
When scheduling games, it is best to give your schedule for the entire week. Posts containing things like "when can you play" or "message me on live" don't accomplish much in terms of figuring out a compatible time to play. An example of a good scheduling post would be:
Failure to communicate in the game scheduling threads will be taken seriously. A first offense will more than likely result in a warning and a sim loss. Continued offenses will lead to expulsion from the WCFL.
As the league will advance twice a week on scheduled days (Wed and Sat), there is no excuse for not scheduling your game within 24 hrs of the advance. (Of course, if there actually IS an excuse - like the commish didn't get off his lazy ass and post the threads, this policy will not be enforced...) If there is no post for scheduling within 24 hrs after the advance, NEITHER team has the right to ask for a cpu game. If only one team has posted available times, that team may request a cpu game and the opponent wil lbe removed on the LAST day of the advance so the posting team can play the cpu. All other games wil lbe simmed.
