IV. Game Scheduling Procedure
Each week, there will be an individual thread created in the Game Scheduling forum for every game to be played that week. This is where ALL communication should be recorded in terms of scheduling games. Conversations on AIM, XBox Live, etc are all well and good, but when it comes to simulating games that don't get played on time, the scheduling threads will be the end-all, be-all in determining who gets the win.
When scheduling games, it is best to give your schedule for the entire week. Posts containing things like "when can you play" or "message me on live" don't accomplish much in terms of figuring out a compatible time to play. An example of a good scheduling post would be:
Failure to communicate in the game scheduling threads will be taken seriously. A first offense will more than likely result in a warning and a sim loss. Continued offenses will lead to expulsion from the WCFL.
I expect every team to post in the schedule thread by the first day of the week (preferably as soon as the threads are open, should be the day before the advance). If a team has not posted by the second day of the current week, the opponent may request a sub game. YOU MUST request a sub first, then if no sub can be arranged by the final day of the week, a cpu game wil lbe allowed. NO CPU GAMES will be played unless the commish or other admin expressly notes it in the schedule thread. All correspondence - sub request, etc. will take place in the schedule thread.
